Biosecurity Awards close Sunday 31 July

Sunday 31 July 2022, 5:16pm

Not long left to enter the NZ Biosecurity Awards

If you’ve been putting in the hard yards to keep Aotearoa safe from pests and diseases, we want to know about it! We want to hear how your planting, trapping, programmes, innovation, technology, and mahi supports our biosecurity system.

Entries for the New Zealand Biosecurity Awards close Sunday 31 July - you have two weeks to get your entries in!

If you’re still thinking about your entry, Dr Ed Massey, Chair of the Biosecurity Awards judging panel, has shared some tips to writing a great one:

  • Tell us about your organisation, project, initiative – who is involved, what you have been doing and most importantly why and how it does it support biosecurity in New Zealand.
  • Tell us what you have achieved and how you measure success.
  • Judges can only evaluate on the information given, so be full in telling your story in your application – make the most of the total word allocation.
