School children learn about life in the ocean and the environment at Castlecliff, Whanganui
Castlecliff Coast Care have 50 children coming out from Kaitoke School to do beach clean ups and help Coast Care as part of their “learning about life in the ocean and the environment”.
They are asking for volunteers to help with supervision and to explain what they do and how the coast functions.
The plan is to split them into two groups: Half will do a beach clean up while the other half will mulch plants and have a bug and beasties hunt. Then they will swap over.
Please meet at Duncan Pavilion about 9.30 to welcome them, on Tuesday 13 December.
Please let know if you are planning to help, then he can keep you updated.
The earlier date of 29 November has been cancelled.
