Purpose of group:

We are a community action group coordinated by the Bay of Plenty Regional Council in partnership with Tauranga City Council and Western Bay of Plenty, Whakatane and Opotiki District Councils.
We aim to raise community awareness of the importance of dunes and improve dune function for increased erosion protection.
We care about our coastal environment.

About the group: Come to Waihi Beach, make contact and walk and talk the beach with us. We have a few stories to share.
