Coastal restoration: Measuring our progress

Conference 15-17 March 2023

The theme of our 2023 conference was Coastal restoration: Measuring our progress and was hosted by the AUT Department of Environmental Science.

There were several late minute changes to our programme. One of our keynote speakers, Pim de Monchy, was unable to attend because of illness and because of the extreme effects of Cyclone Gabrielle on the people and infrastructure of Te Henga/Bethell’s beach, we made a late change to the location of the field trip on Friday 17th March from Te Henga Bethell’s beach to Tahuna Torea Nature Reserve in Glendowie and Pourewa in Ōrākei.
